Honor Our Rivers 2012, journal submissions due January 31
With the New Year already upon us, the January 31 deadline will be here before we know it! If you have not yet begun your Honoring Our Rivers projects, there is no time like the present.
Submission Deadline Approaching!
Teachers, send your students home with an Honoring Our Rivers entry form, and challenge them to get outside the classroom and write or create an art peice that reflects their experience of ’getting outside and into nature.’ Or incorporate an Honoring Our Rivers writing assignment into your language arts lessons.
Students, take time to write a poem or create an art piece that reflects your view of nature, sense of place and connection to rivers.
However you choose to participate, don’t miss the January 31 deadline.
