The Madison Meadow/Network Charter School Experience

This year my Urban Ecology students started a project working with the neighbors of Madison Meadow. The focus of the project was to connect Network Charter School students to the Eugene community through habitat restoration. Students were able to better understand the neighborhood project and make positive connections with people in their community. Students also improved their knowledge of native and invasive plants in a meadow ecosystem. The project was a success. Students enjoyed the project and the neighborhood appreciated all of the work the students provided. I look forward to continue this project in the future.
