Stewardship
Community Stewardship Program is designed to instill within youth an appreciation for the unique attributes that make life in the Willamette Valley worthy of conservation, a legacy that should be sustained. The Nature Conservancy determined in 2006 that the Willamette Valley ecological region is the most endangered area in western North America. Through Community Stewardship youth discover the effect of our ecological footprint upon the valley and take action to protect it.
